McGill Construction, Inc is owned and operated by Paul McGill. Paul's father, David McGill, moved to South Lake Tahoe in '67 and since then has worked in the housing industry/ finish carpentry.
A true South Lake Tahoe Native, Paul was born and raised in the beautiful Sierra's; and has been creating custom homes in SLT and around the Lake since the early 90's. With his lifelong passion for woodworking and his eye for design, Paul loves to create beautiful custom homes; from his hand drawn blueprints to helping choose appliances and paint colors.

Paul McGill (the owner) is excellent at his trade of General Contractor. Good communication skills, good follow through, honesty, and a sense of humor, all things I consider imperative in a homeowner-contractor relationship.
He is finishing our house in South Lake after our previous contractor relationship fell apart.
McGill Construction was able to jump in and get up to speed quickly, great crew, happy with all their work.

Paul and crew came to the rescue when I had a bathroom disaster and the bathroom is now stronger and more beautiful than ever! Later, he made an access hatch under the house, and got the job done swiftly and efficiently. This year, he turned the floors in my kitchen and dining room into beautiful hardwood! One thing I really appreciate is his use of the cell phone camera to keep me informed of his progress. Thanks, Paul!
